CPABC participated in the Stalew Powwow, held at the Langley Event Center from September 13-15, 2024. This event brought together Indigenous communities and attendees from across the region for a powerful celebration of culture, tradition, and connection.  As an exhibitor, CPABC engaged with community members, sharing information about career opportunities in accounting and financial literacy resources. 

Attendees were treated to captivating performances in dance styles like Fancy, Jingle, and Grass, with dancers from various nations competing and sharing the unique stories and meanings behind each style. This vibrant weekend event featured drumming and dancing competitions while showcasing the deep heritage and diverse traditions of Indigenous communities in BC.
