Lori Mathison is the President and CEO of CPABC, leading the organization’s Executive Management Committee and representing the province on the national Council of Chief Executives for the Canadian CPA profession. Previously, Lori was the managing partner of the Vancouver office of Dentons Canada LLP, where she was a partner in Denton’s Tax Law group and practiced both tax and corporate law for almost 20 years.
Lori is a governor and a past chair of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. She sits on the strategic advisory board of the Counter Illicit Finance Alliance, the board of the CPA Western School of Business, the faculty advisory board of the UBC Sauder School of Business, and the Dean’s Advisory Committee for the UBC Centre for Business Law.
Sandy Stedman is a retired Partner of Schibli Stedman King Chartered Professional Accountants. For more than 20 years, he authored and instructed tax courses for the CPABC Professional Development Program. Throughout his career, Sandy has served on numerous boards of not-for-profit organizations, including St. Michael’s University School, the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and Scouts Canada Greater Victoria Region. In addition to serving as Chair of the CPABC Board, he is a member of the Finance & Audit Committee of the Victoria Foundation.
