This year we again hosted the New CPA luncheon at the Kelowna Yacht Club, one week after the September CFE results were posted. We had a turnout of 62 guests that included 18 new CPA's. We had 7 mentors/employers provide a short speech to introduce their successful writers and 2 of the employers were from industry.
We would love to see an increase in industry attendance at this event, and this was an improvement over 2024. The venue and food were excellent and it is a central downtown location that is ideal for attendees.
