On June 18, 2026, members of the CPABC Kamloops/Cariboo Chapter gathered at Maurya for an insightful and engaging Professional Development session, Accounting Meets AI: Tools, Trends, and Takeaways for CPAs. With 40 registered participants in attendance, the event brought the members together in exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming the profession and creating new opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Led by distinguished speaker Peter Akarakiri, the session combined informative lecture-style presentations with interactive workshop discussions, creating a dynamic learning environment that encouraged participation and collaboration.
