Inter-Provincial Transfers (Members from other Provinces or Territories)
The CPA Act reserves the use of the titles “Chartered Professional Accountant” and “Professional Accountant” to CPABC members in good standing and registered firms.
To apply for Affiliate Membership with CPABC, please complete the Affiliate Membership Application form. The application consists of two documents: The Affiliate Application and Provincial Confirmation Forms.
CPABC requires proof that you are lawfully permitted to work in Canada. You can submit your Canadian citizenship/passport, Permanent Residence card or work permit with your application form.
Please ensure you have completed all of the following prior to submitting your membership application form. Please note: Membership applications with outstanding requirements or requirements in progress will not be processed.
- The Affiliate Application Form is to be fully completed by the Applicant, along with proof that you are lawfully permitted to work in Canada, both sent together to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
- The Provincial Confirmation Form is to be sent to all Provinces and/or Territories in which applicants are currently a member; to complete and return to CPA BC on your behalf.

Signature Requirements for All Membership Applications
CPABC requires an original signature from the Applicant as a part of the Character Declaration.
