Interested in becoming a board member of CPAEF? Each year, a few board positions become available, and every spring we invite applications for new board members with diverse personal and professional experiences—including nonprofit leadership, industry expertise, and community involvement. Geographic diversity is also appreciated to ensure broad representation across the province.
If you're ready to bring your passion and experience to support the future of accounting education and award students on their journey to becoming a CPA we would love to hear from you! Applications will be open from February to April. If you would like to put your name forward, please send a cover letter and resume to cpaef@bccpa.ca.
Timeline
All applications for board positions will be reviewed in May through June. An interview may be scheduled if necessary. Candidates who are chosen to move forward with the process will be contacted in early July. Board members are officially elected in September at the CPAEF AGM.
