Message from the CPAEF Board Chair

Keri Norrie, FCPA, FCA, CGA, Chair, CPA Education Foundation

As incoming board chair, I am honoured to lead an outstanding board that shares a collective passion and dedication in upholding and advancing excellence in accounting education in BC. While we find ourselves navigating through a precarious time, the quality of accounting education in BC continues to excel and I am excited for the many opportunities that lie ahead.

I would like to thank outgoing board chair, Brenda Waechter, FCPA, FCGA, for her exceptional service and I look forward to upholding CPAEF’s integrity and high standards as we forge into this new era together. On behalf of CPAEF, thank you for your continued support for the foundation’s mission to advance accounting education in BC.

Keri Norrie, FCPA, FCA, CGA
Board Chair

About CPAEF

The Chartered Professional Accountants’ Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) was constituted on November 27, 2015, as a non-profit foundation. It comprises three legacy charitable entities: the Chartered Accountants Education Foundation of BC, the Certified General Accountants of BC Educational Foundation, and the Certified Management Accountants Society of BC Scholarship Fund, which all shared a mandate to support business and accounting education across the province.

The CPAEF’s goal is to advance accounting education in BC by enhancing the quality and quantity of students entering the profession, sponsoring relevant and practical research, and stimulating the on-going educational experience of members and students of CPABC.
