KPU Receives Speaker Series Grant

The CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) has approved a Speaker Series Grant to Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) to enable the school to host a session on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)”. The session will explore how to integrate DEI issues into accounting curriculum. The proposed speaker is Shanique Kelly of Bakau Consulting and the session is expected to be held in the Fall 2021.
The CPAEF provides funding to BC post-secondary institutions (PSI) to support faculty development. A PSI may apply for a grant up to $2,500 up to twice per year. Information about the program can be found on the CPAEF website.

The CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF) offers bursaries to students taking preparatory courses or enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Students taking preparatory courses can apply for a bursary if they have completed and passed at least two courses offered by the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) in the preceding year. CPA PEP students can apply for a bursary if they are registered in CPAWSB or the MPAcc. program at the University of Saskatchewan.
