CPAEF Student Awards – Deadline in May 2021

Bursaries
The CPA Education Foundation (CPAEF) offers bursaries to students taking preparatory courses or enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Students taking preparatory courses can apply for a bursary if they have completed and passed at least two courses offered by the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) in the preceding year. CPA PEP students can apply for a bursary if they are registered in CPAWSB or the MPAcc. program at the University of Saskatchewan.Students attending a BC post-secondary institution can apply for the CPAEF David Sale Memorial Bursary which was created in memory of David Sale FCPA FCGA who was a long time academic and active member of the profession.
These CPAEF bursaries are open to BC students and are based on financial need. Applications for bursaries can be found on the CPAEF website under Helping Students. There are two deadlines each year for bursary application submission: May 15 and November 15.
Scholarships
The CPAEF also offers scholarships to students attending one of eleven BC post-secondary institution that do not have named awards. Students must be in their final year of their diploma or degree program and intend to register for the CPA Professional Education program (PEP). Successful applicants will receive their award upon registering with the CPAWSB.Applications for awards can be found on the CPAEF website under Helping Students and are due May 1, 2021.
