On Thursday November 30th, members of the Victoria/Southern Vancouver Island Chapter gathered downtown at the Hotel Grand Pacific for the annual holiday social. Attendees enjoyed a CPA themed bingo game, as well as mingling and catching up with old friends over drinks and appetizers.
The people bingo game was a hit! Players had to find someone who could share an accounting joke (What does an accountant say when getting on a train? Mind the GAAP.), works in a specific area of accounting, or has a certain number of years of experience. Everyone had a great time searching the room for the right person to mark off their bingo cards!
Overall, the holiday social was a great success! Everyone had a great time catching up and getting to know each other a little better. It was a great way to kick off the holiday season!
