The student networking event was a success, with a total of 55 participants from different backgrounds and stages of their accounting careers at Selkirk College.
The event featured 16 CPAs who shared their insights and experiences with the students, as well as 3 instructors who offered guidance and advice. The co-op coordinator also attended the event and provided information on the co-op program and opportunities. The event was a great opportunity for students to network with professionals, learn from their stories, and explore their career options. The feedback from the participants was positive and encouraging, and we are looking forward to organizing another event next year.
