CPABC Ambassadors

Are you passionate about being a CPA or looking forward to becoming a CPA? We are looking for individuals in all stages of the CPA path to be ambassadors of the CPA brand. Whether you are a high school student, post-secondary student, a PEP candidate or a current CPA member – we have an ambassador program that is right for you.

As a High School Ambassador, you’ll:

  • Deliver a financial literacy presentation at your school, co-presented with a CPA Member Ambassador
  • Learn about the CPA designation and the diverse career paths it offers
  • Help promote CPABC resources for students, including the Skill Check app and the COIN Competition
  • Attend monthly meetings to build leadership skills and prepare for your role
  • Build communication and leadership skills to add to your resume

As a Campus Ambassador, you’ll represent CPABC through your school or student group by:

  • Raising awareness of the CPA pathway among your peers
  • Promoting CPABC events like online info sessions and the CPA BC Business Case Competition
  • Volunteering at select CPABC-hosted events
  • Working closely with your assigned CPA Member or Candidate Ambassador to bring CPA professionals to campus events and student-led activities

As a Member Ambassador, you’ll help spread the word about the CPA designation by sharing compelling stories and personal insights about your journey. Your voice and experience can inspire future CPAs and help build awareness of the profession.

Through this volunteer program, you’ll be matched with one of three volunteer opportunities based on your interests and availability:

  • Inspire high school students by promoting financial literacy and sharing your career path
  • Support post-secondary students exploring the CPA designation through networking, and coffee chats.
  • Volunteer on your terms whether it’s a one-time coffee chat, speaking at a virtual event, or helping at an in-person engagement

CPABC is looking for accounting faculty members from BC Post-Secondary Institutions who are interested in staying connected with CPABC. As an ambassador and advocate for the CPA program, you will receive ongoing updates related to program changes, exclusive event invitations and classroom resources. CPABC Faculty Ambassador volunteers have no minimum time commitment.
