The Academic Prerequisites Guide below lists requirements for the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP).
If an applicant completes all of the courses listed on the Academic Prerequisites Guide for CPA PEP by December 31, 2028, they will be exempt from the Knowledge Assessment in the new CPA Professional Program. The academic prerequisites below outline the prerequisite course equivalents offered by publicly recognized universities and colleges in British Columbia and the Yukon, which are required for entry into the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). See the program admission requirements.
Academic prerequisites are assessed according to the requirements in place at the time the course(s) had been taken and exemption will be granted provided the course(s) meet the education and grade requirements for CPA PEP.
