Early Achievement

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a member in good standing.
  • Has had their Canadian CPA for up to 10 years (including up to one year past their 10th anniversary).
  • Demonstrates significant achievements in one or more area as outlined in the selection criteria.
  • Not eligible if they’ve received equivalent legacy award(s) or are employed by CPABC.
  • Not unsuccessfully nominated for this award three or more times in the past seven years.

How to Nominate

Selection Criteria

Based on post-designation experience, nominees should excel in one or more of these areas:

  • Demonstrate financial expertise, leadership, strategic thinking, and business insight that contribute to achieving their organization’s objectives.
  • Demonstrate the impact of their achievements on their organization  and/or their clients.
  • Highlight originality and innovation of nominee.
  • Demonstrate dynamism and determination in achieving targeted goals or fulfilling responsibilities.
  • Describe the nature and significance of responsibilities and leadership held throughout their career.
  • Connect achievements to future career development.
  • Demonstrate how their achievements increase the visibility of the CPA profession.
  • Highlight that they identify as CPAs and are recognized as such.
  • Describe their significant involvement in the community, including outstanding contributions, impactful accomplishments, and dedicated service, especially as a volunteer with community or charitable organizations, other non-profits, or professional groups.
  • The nomination must be supported by more than one member of CPABC.
