With the support of his team at FSQ Consulting in Vancouver, where he is a managing partner and the CFO, Nelson has helped multiple businesses scale to seven-figure profitability since 2020. His strategic guidance drives sustainable, profitable growth and long-term success.

Since earning his CPA designation in 2014, Nelson has distinguished himself as a forward-thinking leader. As the controller at Innovative Fitness, for example, he increased profitability by 12% in two years. Following this, he served as the manager of finance (Americas) for Cathay Pacific, where he helped lead the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning system that streamlined global operations.

Beyond the boardroom, Nelson champions financial literacy on a global scale. His TEDx talk on financial literacy has reached more than 200,000 viewers organically, and he continues to actively engage audiences through social media. In addition, in 2024, he spoke to more than 2,000 students across the Lower Mainland to equip them with financial literacy knowledge and advocate for the CPA designation.

“As a subject matter expert in financial literacy, Nelson has already helped more than one million people gain a greater understanding of money management and wealth building. His mission is to empower millions more.”
