The CPABC Okanagan Chapter was excited to host their first online professional networking event on February 9th, 2021 – their first chapter event since activities were paused in March 2020. Approximately 30 attendees took part and enjoyed re-connecting with fellow members and learning tips on healthy eating.

The event kicked off with networking, followed by a discussion led by nutritionist Melissa Spooner from Paradigm Naturopathic Medicine. Some of the topics covered included healthy eating habits, meal prep, and how to properly read food labels. Participants shared their experiences and challenges about heathy eating throughout this interactive event.

All registrants received a special engagement package which included recipes for healthy snacks and smoothies, a sample protein powder packet, a branded bamboo container box, and an informational brochure about the counselling services from Lifeworks by Morneau Shepell.

Watch for upcoming events!  The CPABC Okanagan chapter  is planning future events to keep members, candidates, and students connected.  Be sure to email the chapter if you have any ideas for future events, which will be hosted online until it is safe to meet in-person.
