CPABC Accounting Night in Canada

Learn how to transfer your international education and accounting related work experience towards admission into the CPA program and work as a Chartered Professional Accountant in BC, Canada. This webinar presented the admission pathways for newcomers and international students in BC, the structure of the CPA program, permit requirements when enrolled in the CPA program, and employment opportunities in the accounting sector. Government of Canada (IRCC) public policy changes regarding study and work permits that came into effect on November 1, 2024, were also addressed, as well as resources for internationals to contact for immigration services and support.
