On November 12, 2025, CPABC was excited to host the CPA Path to Success event for the second year in a row. Launched in 2024, the event gives aspiring CPAs the chance to gain insights from professionals with diverse educational and career backgrounds. Its other aim is to help participants expand their networks, because we know that having a strong community support system – both professionally and personally – is one of the key ingredients for success in the rigorous CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
At the 2025 event, CPAs and CPA PEP candidates working in retail, telecommunications, banking and finance, technology, real estate development, and industrial energy shared lessons learned on their unique career journeys and offered advice on securing employment. This year’s event also featured speakers from recruitment agencies Hays and Strive Recruitment, who provided valuable advice on standing out in a competitive job market.
Held at CPABC’s office in downtown Vancouver, this year’s event attracted more than 85 attendees, including post-secondary students from across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, recent post-secondary graduates, working professionals, newcomers to Canada, and internationally designated accountants. We’d like to thank everyone who participated in this event for creating such a dynamic and engaging environment!
