CPABC How to Series ‘Apply to CPA as an International Student’

Many international students in BC are currently enrolled in an MBA, bachelor degree or post degree diploma program with the intention of applying to CPA program upon graduation of their program. Many of these students also hold international degrees and/or professional accounting designations from their home countries. So as an international student, when is the best time for you to apply to the CPA program?

This zoom webinar will present on many of the frequently asked questions we’ve received from international students inquiring about the CPA program such as:

  • When is the best time to apply to CPA if I’m currently enrolled in an MBA or post degree diploma program here in Canada?
  • What type of WES Canada degree report is acceptable for CPAWSB Assessment, and what is an ‘upgrade’ of degree report?
  • What is my Applicant Type to apply for CPAWSB Assessment?
  • When and how do I apply for the work permit and study permit for enrolment into the CPA program in BC?
  • What is the Government of Canada (IRCC) definition of the CPA program?
  • Does the Government of Canada (IRCC) allow persons to hold two permits at the same time, and what does this mean for me?

Webinar includes live audience Q&A.
