CPABC High School Ambassadors are motivated and organized student leaders in grades 10 through 12 who love to learn.

Tasks

  • Assist with event promotion through social media, school announcements, and classroom visits
  • Distribute CareerConnect sign up forms to promote the program to students at your school
  • Complete ad hoc tasks which help promote the CPA brand to teachers, students, and the community

Complete the application form and describe in 60-100 words why you would make a great CPABC High School Ambassador. Submit both by email to ambassadors@bccpa.ca before the application deadline (November 30, 2023).

Campus Ambassadors are student volunteers at post-secondary institutions who help promote the CPA career path on campus. They are valuable points of contact for students who have questions about the accounting profession, particularly regarding the CPA Professional Education Program.

  • Engage with and attend events hosted by your institution’s accounting and/or business club/association
  • Attend on campus CPABC events and/or sessions to promote and answer questions about the CPA pathway
  • Complete additional ad hoc tasks as necessary to promote the CPA brand at your school

CPABC is looking for faculty members, in any discipline, from all BC Post-Secondary Institutions who are interested in staying connected with CPABC. As an ambassador and advocate for the CPA program, you will receive ongoing updates relating to program changes, exclusive event invitations and classroom resources. CPABC Faculty Ambassador volunteers have no minimum time commitment. CPABC will provide training and information on the pathway to becoming a CPA so that all volunteers can feel comfortable fielding questions by students and peers. CPABC will also provide all supporting material for events as required.
