Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

Members in good standing of the following international accounting bodies may be eligible to apply for advanced standing in the CPA Certification Program with the Canada Western School of Business (CPAWSB). For each of the accounting bodies listed below, an updated review of the equivalency of the bodies and programs has been conducted and CPAWSB will continue to accept student applications submitted pursuant to these agreements until further notice.

CPAWSB will promptly and fairly evaluate your academic and professional qualifications. Your academic credentials will be assessed to identify any required bridging courses, and your professional experience will be evaluated for experience bridging purposes.

For more information about the specific requirements for members of your accounting body, follow the links below. If you are interested in the CPA Certification Program, please use the link specific to your accounting body to request a transcript assessment and apply to CPAWSB.

Note that applicants who wish to be engaged in the practice of public accounting in BC will also need to submit a separate application to the CPABC Public Practice department to obtain a public practice license. Please contact them at publicpracticelicensing@bccpa.ca for enquiries.
