CPABC supports the International Credential Recognition Act to reduce unnecessary barriers for internationally designated accountants seeking certification in BC. The following international accounting bodies are covered by a MOU agreement with CPA Canada.
Members in good standing of an international accounting body covered by a MOU with CPA Canada may be eligible to apply to the Canada Western School of Business (CPAWSB) through the MOU.
CPAWSB will promptly and fairly evaluate your academic and professional qualifications. Your academic credentials will be assessed to identify any required bridging courses, and your professional experience will be evaluated for experience bridging purposes.
Please search for your accounting body below and use the links to learn more about the specific requirements for each MOU. If you wish to apply for certification, use the links in the sidebar to request a transcript assessment and apply to CPAWSB under the MOU for your accounting body.
