Capping off the summer with sport, socializing, and fun: CPABC’s 64th Annual Golf Tournament
On August 28, 2025, over 140 CPAs and their guests gathered at the beautiful Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club for a day of networking, sport, and fun at the 64th Annual Golf Tournament. The course was in top form, offering the right level of challenge to keep players on their toes. With two exciting formats to choose from, 'Play Your Own Ball' for the more seasoned golfers and 'Scramble Team Play' for the novices, there was a style of play for everyone.
On and off the green, conversations flowed easily as colleagues reconnected and leaned into the spirit of friendly competition. After golfing, players were joined by their guests for a delicious buffet dinner.
The day culminated in a trophy presentation and winners included:
- Men’s Low Gross: Tyler Lewis
- Women’s Low Gross: Veronica Lee, CPA, CA
- Low Team Scramble (Len Peterson Memorial Trophy): Michael Hansen, CPA, CMA, Wren Hung, CPA, Faizal Nuraney, Kendal Yonomoto
- Low Team Gross: Peter Lewis, CPA, CA, Tyler Lewis, Bruce Matkin, Ben Moxon, CPA, CA
Additional recognition went to the winners for the longest drives and closest-to-the-pin challenges:
- Women’s Long Drive: Sandy Parcher
- Men’s Long Drive: Jack Blackwell
- Women’s Closest to the Pin: Sandy Leung
- Men’s Closest to the Pin: Kern Chiu
Winners walked away with fantastic raffle prizes to commemorate their achievements and every golfer had the chance to take home an item from the impressive prize table.
