From January 25–26, 2024, over 600 participants and 28 organizations participated to network and engage with their peers on important career topics.
First, over 300 attendees tuned in to a virtual interview panel called Perfecting Your Interview with Experienced CPAs, where experienced CPAs from public practice, the public sector, and the not-for-profit sector showcased how they would highlight their key strengths and career journeys during a mock interview. Then, attendees took part in the virtual speed networking sessions where they were randomly matched with hiring managers, HR professionals, and recruitment experts. More than 200 virtual speed networking sessions took place during the event.
The following day, CPABC brought Career Week to Vancouver. Over 300 attendees met with 28 organizations to expand their network and explore exciting career opportunities in business, accounting, and finance at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
