In order to resolve a disciplinary proceeding before a Panel of CPABC’s Disciplinary Committee concerning professional misconduct alleged against him, Anil Sharma of Delta, British Columbia has agreed to the voluntary relinquishment of his enrollment as a student of the Organization of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (“CPABC”), commencing on May 27, 2025.

The professional misconduct alleged against Mr. Sharma involves numerous breaches of the CPABC Code of Professional Conduct, in particular: physically signing the signature of one of his CPA sponsors on the character declaration on his membership application without their knowledge or consent; copying and affixing the electronic signature of the same CPA sponsor on the revised character declaration on his membership application without their knowledge or consent; submitting two false or misleading membership applications; and sending two false or misleading emails to CPABC.

Mr. Sharma has irrevocably admitted to all the allegations that CPABC has made against him.

Mr. Sharma has agreed to pay $1,500.00 towards CPABC’s costs of the disciplinary proceeding and pay a fine of $4,000.00
