The Member copied verbatim, in all material respects, the website of another Chartered Professional Accountant. When doing so, the Member
- Misrepresented the attributes of their public practice;
- Advertised on their website a practice name that was not authorized by CPABC; and
- Adopted a website domain name that implied the same unapproved practice name.
The Investigation Committee determined the Member contravened the CPABC Code of Professional Conduct as follows,

The Committee recommended the Member:
- accept a reprimand;
- pay a fine of $2,000; and
- pay expenses of $1,485.
