ICABC Member Awards and Recognition

ICABC believes in celebrating members who have made outstanding contributions to the Institute, to their communities, and to the profession. Their achievements and contributions are vital to the growth of our designation and the enhancement of our reputation.

ICABC granted the following awards:

• Community Service Award
• Early Achievement Award
• Ritchie McCloy Award

Community Service

This award recognizes members of the ICABC who've had a positive impact on the community through extensive volunteerism.

Early Achievement

Open to members within their first ten years after achieving the CA designation, this award recognizes a member's contribution to the success of their own business, employer, or clients, and/or a member's ongoing commitment to and excellence in professional, community, or other volunteer work. The award goes to a maximum of three CAs or ACIAs annually, and candidates are nominated by other CAs.

Ritchie McCloy Award

Lisa Boog and Nikki Katz established the Ritchie McCloy Award for CA Volunteerism in memory of their father Ritchie W. McCloy, FCA. The award honours Ritchie's dedication to the integrity of the CA profession, as well as his generosity towards numerous charitable organizations. The award recognizes the contribution of a CA or non-CA to furthering the CA profession. The purpose of the Award is to immediately recognize the value of service to the profession, either through a project, a committee, or a series of activities.
