BC AgriStability Update

CPABC members may support clients in the agriculture sector - producers, farms, and agri‑businesses - who participate in AgriStability. CPAs are often involved in preparing and filing the financial information for the program. Changes to reporting deadlines or filing requirements can directly affect members’ workload, client eligibility timelines, and planning processes. 

Significant updates that many members would want to know about are:

• New Statement A Deadline: June 30, 2026 (previously September 30)
• Final Deadline (with penalty): September 30, 2026 (previously December 31)

These accelerated deadlines mean that members and their clients will need to prepare financial information earlier than in prior years to ensure no one is caught off‑guard by the change.

Additional Upcoming AgriStability Program Deadlines

• 2026 Enrolment Deadline: April 30, 2026
   Clients can enroll with the new online form or by submitting the fillable PDF to BC AgriStability.
• 2025 Early Payment (Interim) Deadline: March 31, 2026
   Producers may request an Interim Payment of up to 50% of their estimated final benefit. Forms (online or PDF) are processed within 30 days.
