The Chartered Professional Accountants’ Education Foundation of British Columbia (CPAEF) offers scholarships and/or bursaries to students attending accredited post-secondary institutions (university or college) in British Columbia.
CPAEF Named Scholarships and Bursaries
Application deadline: As indicated by the specific post-secondary institution
CPAEF has worked closely with post-secondary institutions across the province to offer awards to accounting students in recognition of their academic achievements. Students can apply for these scholarships and bursaries by contacting their school’s registrar and/or financial aid office. Award recipients are selected by the post-secondary institution based on the eligibility requirements of the specific awards.
The CPAEF also awards scholarships to students who demonstrate achievement in accounting at the following post-secondary institutions that do not have named scholarships or bursaries. Students must be in their final year of their diploma or degree program and intend to register for the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Successful applicants will receive their award upon registering with the CPA Western School of Business.
Application deadline: May 15 or November 15 of each year
CPAEF offers bursaries of up to $3,000 per year for accounting students who have financial need and who are attending a BC post-secondary institution in their first through fourth years. These awards are based on community involvement, personal circumstances, and financial need.
