On the morning of June 29, a group of Chapter volunteers, members, students and their families spent their morning by giving their time to clean up the beautiful David Lam Park on north shore of False Creek. The partly cloudy day did not stop the volunteers’ enthusiasm. The group paired together in twos or threes and dispersed within the park areas. In total, our volunteers collected about 15 bags of garbage and recycle materials within two hours.

The volunteers felt good about their team work to protect the environment by keeping the park and neighbourhood litter free while they spent time outside. It was a great opportunity for the volunteers to connect with each together to have fun, meet, socialize and establish new friendships.

We want to thank all the volunteers who came to this event and hope to see you at the next park clean up event in August!
