Surrey/Langley/North Delta - Day at the Races Event Recap

On November 9th, the Surrey/Langley/North Delta chapter held a highly successful social event at Elements Casino, combining the allure of live horse racing with a sold-out attendance. The event, commencing at 6:00 pm, welcomed over 40 CPAs and their guests who were treated to a lovely buffet and a beverage of their choice.

A highlight of the evening was the opportunity for attendees to engage in the excitement of wagering on nine live horse races! A dedicated section of the casino premises was reserved exclusively for our chapter where members could relish both refreshments and a front row seat to the races.

The event started at 6:00pm and continued until the final race at 10:00pm. Attendees enjoyed cheering and betting on horse races. In between the races attendees had an opportunity to network with fellow CPA's and guests.

The CPABC Surrey/Langley/North Delta chapter volunteers and members also had an opportunity to welcome a newly designated CPA that attended the event that further enhanced the sense of camaraderie within the group. CPABC swag was awarded to the lucky winners of the door prize.
