The Chapter had a blast at the new Member Celebration event on Saturday September 23, 2023 at Lulu Island Winery, where they welcomed the new CPA members from Richmond South Delta Chapter. It was a lovely afternoon in the VIP room, where everyone enjoyed a private wine tasting of four delicious wines: Merlot, Rose, Muscat and Raspberry Wine!
The wine-tender shared some interesting facts about the winery and how to appreciate the different aromas and flavors of the wines. We had the honor of meeting some of the CPABC staff along with and Peter Guo, CPA BC Board of Directors 1st Vice-Chair, who gave us some valuable insights and advice on how to make the most of our CPA membership. Christine Woodington, Chapter Chair, also spoke about the various ways we can give back to the profession and the community through mentorship, financial literacy, and CPA ambassador program.
