Burnaby/New Westminster Chapter had its Lunar Year Event to celebrate the Year of the Snake. There was a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the Chapter Board members, the number of members, students, candidates in the chapter. CPABC Chair, Peter Guo, spoke and brought greetings. In addition, member of Burnaby Council member, Maita Santigo, provided a quick regional update and greetings from the Burnaby Council. There were lion dancers and the “God of Prosperity” made a special appearance. Lots of prizes were given out by random draw or through the trivia contest. Attendees also noted that the food was delicious!
