Burnaby/New Westminster Chapter Annual Summer BBQ Event Recap

The BNW Chapter was a great success!

On Saturday, August 19, 2023, the Chapter gathered at the scenic Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park, where we savored some of the best food and played some of the most exciting games. About 90 CPA members, students and guests came to this amazing summer party.

We were treated to the smoky back ribs and cedar planked wild sockeye salmon from Yo-Bone BBQ, a local catering company that specializes in barbecue cuisine. They used fresh and local ingredients to create a feast that satisfied our taste buds. We also had a lot of fun playing games like frisbee toss and tug-of-war, which tested our skills and teamwork. It was so wonderful to see everyone laughing, cheering, and having a good time. We felt like a big family that supports each other.

At the end of the event, we had a lucky draw and some of us won some CPA accessories, such as mugs, pens, and notebooks. How cool is that? We were so happy to receive these gifts and show our pride in being part of the CPA community.
