May joined BCI as Director, Investment Accounting in June 2021. With $295 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2025, BCI is one of the largest institutional investors in Canada.
May has fifteen years of experience in public sector pension management, including eight years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to BCI, she held Director of Finance roles with Alberta Pensions Services Corporation and Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund.
She holds a Bachelor of Management, Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
May also serves on other non-profit governance boards (e4c Edmonton, Beacon Community Services, Victoria Women’s Transition House Society, YWCA Edmonton) supporting their important causes.

Nicole is passionate about helping future CPAs launch rewarding careers. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and embracing the BC lifestyle through skiing, hiking, camping, and paddle boarding.
