Book a Classroom Presentation
These interactive sessions are designed to introduce high school students to the diverse career opportunities in accounting and business. Students will receive an introduction to BC’s accounting industry and will learn about how to start their careers, develop their skills, and determine which education pathway is best for a professional accounting career. To request a session, please contact Laura van Wensveen.
Teacher Colleague Program
To help high school teachers in the classroom, CPABC has put together a free resource portal that connects educators to content for their students. These resources provide a hands-on, career-focused learning experience for high school students in grades 10 to 12. The perks of becoming a Teacher Colleague include:
- Custom-made accounting cases and projects (with solutions) which compliment regular course curriculum
- Access to the School Accounting Modules (SAM)
- Inclusion on our private mailing lists for upcoming events or initiatives that directly benefit high school students and teachers.
Supporting Your High School Career Fair
CPABC is always keen to assist students in making informed decisions about their future careers. If you are hosting a career day or post-secondary fair at your school, we would love to attend. For more information, please contact Laura van Wensveen.
Financial Literacy
Using interactive activities, relatable case studies, and structured lesson plans, CPA Canada’s in-school financial literacy workshops teach and motivate high school students to make smart financial decision. To request a session or view more information, please visit the CPA Canada website.
