The CPABC North Shore/Sunshine Coast Chapter has made another generous donation to the CPA Education Foundation of BC and directed that this donation be used to continue supporting awards for students attending Capilano University.

This new donation will be used to create a second annual award for accounting students at the university resulting in two $1,000 awards per year.  Both awards are funded through to 2022/23.

Chapter treasurer, Raji Dhaliwal CPA said, “on behalf of chapter members, we are delighted to support student success.”  CPAEF Governor and vice-chair, Judith Watson FCPA FCMA, who is also a faculty member at Capilano University, responded, “we appreciate the donation from local members.  Your continuing support of CapU students is truly amazing.”

CPAEF Bursary Deadline – November 15, 2020
The CPA Education Foundation offers bursaries to students in Preparatory Courses and the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Students in CPA Preparatory Courses can apply for a bursary if they have completed and passed at least two courses offered by the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) in the preceding year. CPA PEP students can apply for a bursary once they are registered in CPAWSB Core Module 1 or the MPAcc. program at the University of Saskatchewan.
