CPABC Vancouver Technology Forum Continues Bursary Support

CPABC Vancouver Technology Forum Continues Bursary Support

The CPABC Vancouver Technology Forum has made a generous pledge of $5,000 to the CPA Education Foundation of BC (CPAEF) towards bursaries to support CPA students and candidates.

For over two decades, the Forum has generously donated its annual Professional Development surplus to the Foundation.  Thanks to the activities of the Forum and the generosity of its members, many dozens of CPA students and candidates have received bursaries which they have used to acquire new computers and hardware to support their educational pursuit.

You can make a donation to the CPAEF and direct it to the Vancouver Technology Fund by contacting David Chiang, CPA CA, CPABC’s vice-president member advice and programs.  Or, if you would like to join the Forum as a member, visit the Member Forums page on the CPABC website.

CPAEF Bursary Deadline – November 15, 2020
The CPA Education Foundation offers bursaries to students in Preparatory Courses and the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Students in CPA Preparatory Courses can apply for a bursary if they have completed and passed at least two courses offered by the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) in the preceding year. CPA PEP students can apply for a bursary once they are registered in CPAWSB Core Module 1 or the MPAcc. program at the University of Saskatchewan.
