CPAEF Recognized by Camosun College for 21 Years of Giving

Jody Kitts, Camosun’s director of advancement and alumni engagement, and Christina Bauzon, advancement officer, presented the CPAEF with a certificate of appreciation for 21 years of supporting Camosun programs and students. The award was gratefully accepted by David Chiang CPA CA, CPABC’s vice-president member advice and programs, on behalf of the CPAEF.
Chiang said, “each year, the CPAEF provides almost $8,000 in awards to support Camosun accounting students.” He added, “through various foundation programs including the Speaker Series, Academic Passport and biennial accounting educations symposium, we assist accounting CPA faculty members advance accounting education in BC.”
On February 13, 2020, the CPABC Victoria/SVI Chapter was also recognized for their long term support. Camosun College president and CEO Sherri Bell and Jeety Bhalla chair of the Camosun Foundation board, presented a certificate of appreciation to local chapter leaders and volunteers.
