This webinar series “CPABC How to Series” features interactive breakout rooms to connect audience members with our Panelists, to ask their own questions and learn all the “how to’s”.
What is a “coffee chat” and why do we do it? Coffee chats are informal conversations to learn more about a career path, company or general advice and knowledge sharing between two or more parties. Coffee chats are also a form of networking for job search, where we can improve our own conversation skills personally and professionally in online and in-person settings.
This webinar features panelists who will share their personal experiences conducting coffee chats, advice on how to ask for a coffee chat, and why you should do it. We will also address some of the feelings of nervousness we may experience about how to start.
If you have ever thought the following, this webinar is for you:
“I don’t know this person…how do I even ask them to speak with me?”
“Will they say no?”
“I don’t know what to say” or “I have nothing to contribute to the conversation.”
“Why do this if they aren’t offering me a job?”
Our panelists include a university student studying towards the CPA path, a working professional Candidate currently enrolled in the CPA program, and a working professional Candidate who just completed the CPA program’s common final exam.
This webinar includes moderated panel discussion and networking breakout rooms for audience members to ask their own questions and advice from the panelists.
