Tyler is a CPA and the Controller for Corporate FP&A at TELUS, where he has worked since graduating from SFU in 2016. After completing TELUS' pre-approved CPA program in 2019, he later volunteered to support the program's steering committee with their recruitment efforts. Since 2022, Tyler has been the lead for national recruitment in TELUS' CPA program, coordinating the hiring of over two dozen full-time and co-op positions annually, giving him unique insights into evolving hiring practices which he has also applied for his own team. With his experience in traditional and modern work environments, Tyler brings valuable perspective on effective interviewing and team management strategies in today's hybrid era.
