BCIT offers a 120 credit hour Bachelor of Technology in Accounting degree that is available on a part-time study basis. The degree ladders from their Financial Management Diploma. Applicants who have completed a similar diploma at another institution or have completed some courses through a professional accounting program will be individually assessed for entrance into and credits towards the degree. CGA-BC and BCIT have established an arrangement wherein students can apply up to four CGA courses toward the requirements of the BCIT degree. By doing this, students can get credit towards the CGA program and the BCIT degree for the same four courses, and thereby obtain both milestones in a shorter period.

CGA-BC and Camosun College are also in the process of developing efficiencies wherein students, who have completed the academic requirements of the CGA program, as well as the practical experience requirements, are granted a block transfer of 90 credits towards this degree. Applicants who have completed a similar diploma at another institution will also be considered for entrance to the degree. CGA-BC and OC have established an arrangement wherein students who have completed the academic requirements of the CGA program, as well as the practical experience requirements are granted a block transfer of 90 credits towards this degree. The student then completes the remaining 30 credits through OC.

TRU-OL offers a 120 credit hour Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) that is available on a part-time study basis. The degree ladders from their Management Studies Diploma. Applicants who have completed a similar diploma at another institution or have completed some courses through a professional accounting program will be individually assessed for entrance into and credits towards the degree. CGA-BC and TRU-OL have established an arrangement wherein students, who have completed the academic requirements of the CGA program, as well as the practical experience requirements, are granted a block transfer of 90 credits towards this degree. The student then completes only the remaining 30 credits through TRU-OL.
University of the Fraser Valley

CGA-BC and the University of the Fraser Valley have established efficiencies wherein students, who have completed the academic requirements of the CGA program, and an approved business diploma, are granted a block transfer of 30 upper level credits towards the degree. The student then completes the remaining 30 credits through the University of the Fraser Valley.
