It takes a village to raise a child, as they say. In the CPA world, we might also say it takes a village to raise a future CPA. The journey is challenging and multifaceted and it’s no journey that can easily be taken alone. CPA employers, supervisors, and mentors are all an integral part of this village, providing not only a valuable support system, but also helping to propel our future CPAs forward to success.
But, then we must always ask – who is helping those training our future CPAs?
CPABC’s Candidate Support Team offers just this. Through targeted events and webinars, tailored presentations for organizations, and open dialogue, this team seeks to understand the needs of our employers, supervisors, and mentors to build resources and supports so they are in a position of strength as they help to raise our future CPAs.
The CPABC Candidate Support Team also serves to help address questions that arise on other aspects of the Professional Education Program (PEP) and serve as a conduit to other resources that provide a deeper dive into specific topics.
